WPT is an international company that is constantly growing. Recently the company was taken over by Cycle Link, also an international player in the field of purchasing secondary raw materials, which has increased the growth potential even more. This of course brought with it the necessary organizational changes, also in the HR field. That is why we are looking for a HR manager Europe who can support and further expand our international HR policy.
As an HR manager Europe, you bend over the national and international HR issues and manage a team of 3 people spread across the Winschoten, Rotterdam and the UK locations. One of your first tasks is to map the current HR organization at the European companies that fall under WPT and Cycle Link. Cycle Link has a branch in the UK in addition to its office in the Netherlands (Rotterdam). Your main responsibility is to draw up and implement a new international HR policy for all our locations together with your HR team at the locations. In total there are about 100 employees spread over the European locations. You work at management level and regularly consult with the MT in order to align the future HR policy perfectly with the company objectives. You fulfill an advisory role for all our branches in Europe and you are a sparring partner for HR issues.
For this role it is a plus that you have made the battle from national to international before and have some knowledge of European legislation, but this is not a must. National experience with a merger is desirable. You know what to look out for in this transition and do not be surprised by obstacles. In addition, you are able to initiate and implement easy change processes. As part of a big Chinese player (Cycle Link) it is a plus but certainly not a must when you master the Chinese language as much tuning is needed here. You will work in the management team of WPT, consisting of, among others, the Director Europe, the Financial Director, the Sales Director and the Logistics Manager.

What do we ask
You have HBO + / WO work and thinking level
You have at least 5 years of broad HR experience in an international HR role is an advantage
You are strong on a strategic and tactical level
Prepared to travel internationally
You can initiate and guide excellent change processes
You master the German, Dutch and English language well in word and in writing
Controlling extra languages like Chinese is an advantage, not a must
