About the Role
Territory Account Managers are the driving force behind the growth of Uber Eats in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for a portfolio of restaurant partners with whom youll develop and execute strategic plans to further grow both of our businesses in a specific area of the city. You are therefore an owner of a large part of our business in Amsterdam and have a substantial and direct impact on the restaurants youll work with. Next to this, you will be managing projects and improve processes to further improve our operation at scale.
This role calls for a rare combination of operational mindset, analytical thinking and exceptional commercial and relationship management skills. You should be comfortable in an “all hands on deck” environment, love solving problems, thrive in fast moving culture, and above all be passionate about our restaurant partners.
What youll do:
You will drive the business performance of Uber Eats in Amsterdam by creating long-term relationships with the most important restaurant partners, ultimately maximizing their financials, marketing efforts, engagement and satisfaction.
Build the best restaurant offering by identifying key restaurants to acquire and coordinating with the sales team to make sure you close the deal.
Project management: you will acquire extensive knowledge of your city to identify further options to keep developing Uber Eats in your area (opening hours extension, new suburbs to cover, launching new products etc.). You will independently lead these projects to a successful outcome.
Problem solving: work with and analyse data to solve hard problems and come to the best solution.
Process optimisation: you design, develop and optimise processes that enable us to provide the best service to our restaurant partners at scale.
Act as an ambassador of Uber Eats mission, brand, and product in Amsterdam.
What youll need:
1-2 yrs professional experience with great business acumen. Sales, account management or other relationship management experience preferred
Desire to work with top restaurants and building a business together
Extraordinary listening, communication and persuasion skills
Problem solving skills: when you see a problem, you work hard and think out of the box until you fix it. You have an analytical mindset and like work with numbers.
Data driven mindset: capable to run analysis and/or understand data and transform it into relevant insights
Project Management: good organization & time management skills
Highly autonomous: able to work with minimal oversight
