Our Distribution Center in Rotterdam is looking for a Supervisor DC Operations, ho will be leading the department in the warehouse (Inbound, Outbound, VAS, Waving, Returning, Pick pack, Shipping and Receiving). In this job you make sure that the warehouse activities are carried out in timely manner, according to the process and within the safety guidelines.
What will you do?
Manage the team to work efficiently, safely, and to complete tasks with given deadlines.
Prepare monthly reviews of the employees.
Actively communicate to the team any relevant information.
Perform Employee administration (holiday – and hour registration), monitor and escalate exceptions.
Leading a team (Team Lead and DC associates)
Having performance reviews with your team
Reporting team members sick to HR
Being the first contact for your team
Responsible for continuation of the operation.
Realization of orders and quality targets and escalate when targets are not met.
Make sure communicated performance targets are accomplished.
Being in close contact with the Team Leads who are in contact with the DC associates
Giving feedback/update to the manager operation warehouse
Oversee workload and escalate to the planning team when needed.
Realize staff planning and advice, discuss performance and staffing with other team leaders.
What do we expect?
Expertise in Pick pack, Shipping and Receiving management, and inbound operations.
A driver’s license and a car is required for this location
Knowlegde of MS Office, Warehouse Management System
Good written and oral English language skills
