WHO YOU ARE
You are a passionate communicator and stakeholder engagement professional, with 5 years of relevant experience in the field of stakeholder engagement, ideally gained in the fields of Sustainability and/or Human Rights.
As a person you are flexible, hands-on and pro-active and get the job done. You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships. You are a strategic thinker, with strong project leadership skills, extensive experience in turning stakeholder engagement and communication trends into practice and a well-developed external network.
And, of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.
In this role youll be responsible for developing a stakeholder engagement centre of excellence and leading high-impact stakeholder engagement activities across Ingka Group.
More specifically this means:
Developing and implementing best practice, tools and frameworks to empower and deliver effective stakeholder engagement and partnerships across Ingka Group
Ensuring a high level of support and steering of the Public Affairs agenda, through project-leading best-in-class stakeholder engagement activities
Applying effective stakeholder management tools to develop a deep understanding of external stakeholder drivers and to connect this with our business reality
Providing passionate advocacy and leadership on the benefits of effective stakeholder engagement and partnerships across all departments, engaging not only external, but also internal stakeholders
Building long lasting business relationships with relevant external stakeholders, partners and coalitions
Aligning with other companies in the IKEA franchise system to maximize the impact of stakeholder engagement.
