Exciting role for academics with 5-8 years work experience and interest for high tech and supply chain. ASML is looking for a very ambitious talent who can play a crucial role in the supply chain processes close to our customers. You will be overall responsible for material flows from Local warehouse to customer fab and back, to reduce the time spent on delivery and return flow, to decrease the amount of lost materials and to improve the consolidation of shipments forwards and backwards.
ASMLs supply chain department is continuously aiming to better serve ASMLs customers.
Events at customer fabs like installs, upgrades and maintenance, create extremely demanding requirements for the supply chain processes, driven by the sensitivity of the parts (cleanroom handling only), the strict needs to minimize machine downtime and the constantly changing specifications of machines. Goal is to establish a true field factory set-up that allows the engineers to perform the installation with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
All these processes ultimately enable ASMLs customers such as Intel and Samsung to continue improving the performance of the laptops, tablets and smartphones that we all use.
ASML customers are established all over the world.
Oversee entire flow of goods, from local warehouse to the machines in the customer fab and back, including site capacity planning for events to ensure proper resources are embedded both within ASML and 3PL organizations, including operational site performance measurements and corrective action implementations.
Responsible for initiating, executing and implementing improvement projects within the customer SCM field operations department (from local warehouse to customer cleanroom and v.v.)
Drive Field Operation blueprint and TAP process (budgets/actuals)
Facilitate KPI processes
Create and maintain value stream mapping to facilitate continuous improvements and to initiate new projects
Initiate BKM & cross learnings
Secure EHS protocols, adherence and audits
Deploy (world-wide) projects in regions and train stakeholders (different levels and departments)
Understand the working and applicability of used IT tooling (SAP, IFMT, R2D, Scheduling-tool, etc),
Build-up good work relation with stakeholders within- and without own department (e.g. CS + 3PL) and have frequent contact (one ASML to the customer)
Represent local operations in Customer SCM department
Relevant Master degree is a must (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)
5-8 years relevant experience in a large international company (industry or consultancy), ideally Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Customer Support background
Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry
A tactical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills, decision making skills, change management skills, people management skills and project management skills
Analytical and able to organize and prioritize workload
Within Customer Supply Chain department, Field Operation is responsible for planning and outbound execution of machines, upgrades, spares and tools to customer fabs. The holder of this position reports to the Central Project Manager InFab roll-out projects. Supporting our Upgrade & Install Field Operations in the field is also part of the job. Strong interfaces with other SCM departments, Field offices & Customer Service departments.

Context of the position
Customer Supply Chain is responsible for all customer supply chain activities (machines deliveries, upgrades at customer sites, spare parts management), inbound and outbound flows to and from the customer fabs.
