Our EMEA Brand Support Center in Hoofddorp is looking for an Social Media Specialist.
The Social Media Specialist will implement tactics which will drive community growth and brand loyalty through communicating brand and product initiatives and will serve as a communication point for the Crocs consumer base. The Social Media Specialist will report directly to the EMEA Social Media Manager to provide support for day to day coordination, monitoring and activation of paid and owned social media activations. These responsibilities will include working with internal and external partners on concepting and ongoing analysis and reporting of our social media program, with a priority focus on maximizing performance.
Primary Job Duties:
Brand and Consumer Social Media Responsibilities
Support execution of all brand and product social media programs in the EMEA marketplace
Actively listen to consumer conversations in social channels and provides recommendations based on insights and data trends
Monitor, track and share new digital and social trends, tools and platforms to connect with brand strategies
Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce and cross-functional stakeholders (merchandising, retail and customer service) to gather needs, define requirements, and provide solutions for supporting needs within the overall social media strategy
Support ideation, identification and execution of influencer partnerships, storytelling and social content creation across multiple channels and platforms
Working with agency partners to ensure the social media strategy is being executed correctly
Develop stories leveraging influencers to connect to brand objectives and consumer needs
Partner with international teams to expand and maintain influencer activity in various markets
Empower and partner with regions to engage with influencers and deliver timely and relevant high-impact content
Provide guidance to distributor markets around local influencer partnerships to ensure global consistency
Paid Social Media Planning and Execution
Participating in media planning process, working with campaign leads to recommend content (both top-performing and new ideas) to be used in paid social campaigns.
Working with media agency to ensure all paid social content is trafficked on time.
Social Editorial and Content Development
Leads monthly social media content planning to support business objectives
Ensures all social posts (both assets and copy) meet social best practices, aligns with established Brand Tone of Voice, and is consistent with business priorities.
Work in partnership with internal and external content team (copywriter, photographers, videographer, graphic designer) and agencies to develop best-in-class social content for both organic and paid social media distribution.
Analytics and Reporting
Develops and collects reports across internal and agency partners, provides top line insights and recommendations
Track and analyze all outreach performance, content, conversion rates to estimate ROI and advise on best strategies
Perform competitive analysis, industry research, assessment of best practice and KPIs (e.g. earned media value) in a consistently changing landscape
Utilize social listening tools/platforms to measure influencer and social activity against brand KPIs
Develop recommendations informed by consumer insights, KPIs and industry landscape
Has a bachelor’s degree in marketing, preferably in Digital Marketing.
Over 3 three years of relevant experience in Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of the latest best practices, tools, and trends on social media platforms, as well as sponsored/partner content protocols (Facebook, Facebook Live, Instagram, Instagram Stories, IGTV, Instagram Live, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.)
An ‘early adopter’ of digital trends, and has a passion for digital projects
Has an understanding of social media in relation to the broader media and marketing mix; understanding of the interplay between online/social media and traditional media
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
Highly-organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Full of fresh ideas; skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing and working on simultaneous projects
Solutions oriented, natural problem solver
Creative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas/strategies to support brand initiatives with focus on editorial storytelling, influencers and consumer engagement
