The Social Media and Advertising Team is part of driving this change, telling our brand story and communicating with our new and existing customers across various online channels and platforms. As Social Media Specialist for Employer Brand, you will be responsible for shaping TomToms Employer Brand Social Media strategy and content across our EB social channels. You are a highly creative person who is eager to stretch their content-development expertise and be part of developing a stellar social presence.
From tapping into the latest meaningful brand engagement opportunity to sharing updates about the most recent social platform rollout, you will have your finger on the pulse of all things social media being a true innovator and trailblazer.
You will work closely with the HR Employer Brand team, and based on their business objectives you will inform, advise and develop new campaigns and optimize existing campaigns and customer journeys. You will focus on delivering while keeping abreast of the ever-changing digital landscape and ensuring that new channels are taken into consideration.
What you’ll do:
The Social Media Specialist is centrally responsible for all organic and paid activity across all social channels, serving all businesses and brand communications, with a focus on Human Resources – Employer Brand. Key responsibilities include:
Strategy: Develop the Employer Brand channel and platform creative strategy including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will need to understand the big picture to outline KPIs, understand your target audience and identify the platforms that will help you scale your efforts and deliver on objectives.
Content: Creation and maintenance of weekly series featuring tech employees in alignment with HR content strategy and direction. Co-creation of content in close collaboration with the content team, the creative studio and employees across all office locations worldwide.
Campaign activation and optimisation: Develop and activate social campaigns (including Always On communications and recruitment campaigns) together with our internal campaign and content teams.
Tools and partners management (Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
Ambassadors and Employees: Develop and manage programmes to generate and activate content across multiple channels, created by our brand ambassadors and employees in key recruitment sites.
Training and Internal Consultancy: Provide training sessions on social media best practices to key company leaders and spokespeople. Development and delivery of an internal ambassador and thought leadership programme. Act as a key stakeholder to create and maintain Social Media Guidelines & Policies documentation.
Analysis & Optimization: Ongoing review, analyze and optimize campaigns to increase response rates, improve KPIs and increase return on investment. Perform analysis to understand customer behaviour and campaign performance in detail, sharing relevant insights for future marketing efforts.
Reporting: Ongoing reporting activity to share key learnings and results with the social media team, the Marketing Leads, and key business stakeholders.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ digital marketing/social media experience
Comfortable to move between strategy, execution and analysis, able to review the performance of social campaigns in detail as well as understand correct testing methods to demonstrate content has performed.
Personal strengths and business competencies that include strong written and verbal communication, self-motivated, drive for results, attention to detail, analytical, positive and optimistic, able to multi-task.
An elevated sense of humour, writing skills infused with wit and charm.
Able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with media and creative agencies and work cross-function with internal marketing and sales teams.
Deep understanding and experience of social media channels and management tools (Salesforce Social Studio, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Bit.ly, Sprout or similar tools)
Flexible, with the ability to excel in a work environment that is constantly evolving.
