Senior Product Marketing Manager
We are a new department within TomTom, working according to the principles of Growth Hacking and Agile Innovation focusing on the Commercialization of new App and Web-Based Concepts. Our Mission is to create in coordination with our R&D team the roadmap of the Consumer Mobility Services of the Future. We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who will be solely focused on our new Crowned Jewel.
Heres a little taste of your challenge:
Market/Product Intelligence: Oversees market research, defines real-world market segmentation models, drives sales and partnership enablement, monitors competitive activity, identifies customer and market needs, sets and monitors key marketing metrics, identifies new growth areas, and come up with emerging marketing solutions and opportunities.
Continuous Improvement: Drives Product Marketing Roadmap, Concept and Feature as well as Functionality Development together with Product Manager and Engineering Teams by collecting and consolidating customer and market requirements; actively participates in the products specifications for user experience purposes, establishment of product milestones, and product priorities in collaboration with Product Manager and R&D Team.
Agility/Pro-Activity: Monitors and assesses the products performance in market in order to create ground breaking propositions/business plans/go-to-market plans to expand the products current consumer base. As such the Senior Product Marketing Manager takes a leading role in the commercial launch of the product and/or any additional features.
360-Marketing: Leads the creation of a marketing plan for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
Look ahead: Keeps in touch with the market and product trends and engages directly with consumers, monitors and reports the consumers satisfaction and experience with the product to PM and R&D Team, as well noting points of improvement that will enhance the consumers satisfaction and experience in future.
Right Tone: Collaborates with product management, brand strategist and marketing communications specialists to develop product positioning, value proposition and messaging that resonate with our target personas. In that sense, she/he translates technical product features and functionalities with the help of the Product Manager into commercial messages to drive new product introduction, sales, business development and marketing;
Run a Business: Contributes to business strategy creation, implementation as well as related financial planning.
What we expect from you:
The candidate must have had at least 7 years of experience working in the Marketing/Product Marketing Department in a slightly complex business setting.
The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to adapt, lead, and coach others in a fast-paced environment.
Be hands on deck and enjoy thriving in a very entrepreneurial set up.
Data-driven thinking. A suitable candidate will portray superior analytical skills necessary for the performance of the positions functions.
Proficiency with the Google Analytics platform (and other tools) is a must

We want you to be able to explain the great work you do internally and externally so great communication and writing skills are required.
Be an All rounded Marketeer with a wide experience on creating integrated campaigns and customer lifecycle emails.
Be a forward-thinker to anticipate future trends
Work experience as a PMM or Digital Marketing Specialist
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
BSc/MSc in Marketing or relevant field
A good understanding of our industry is also a plus.
