The mission of the Center of Expertise Innovation ING Belgium & The Netherlands is to enable these strategic innovation priorities by working on innovation capabilities, customer impact & culture. You will become part of our team of Innovation consultants in Amsterdam, who are pushing the bank to bring relevant solutions to the market faster.
Our main focus is on adjacent & incremental innovation. The source of our innovation portfolio can be internal (e.g. hackathons) or external (e.g. our accelerator FinTech Village).
Your key responsibilities
Working together with specific business areas to identify new opportunities as well as tackle (customer) pain points by exploring new business models and technologies
Leveraging on market research, scouting of FinTechs of our Chief Innovation Office and successful innovation in other ING entities
Developing expertise in INGs innovation focus areas and the underlying emerging technologies
Guiding ideas from origination to go-to-market and scaling using the PACE-methodology, INGs way to innovate based upon Lean Start Up, Agile Scrum & Design Thinking
Unblocking impediments and challenging existing business processes
Train teams to build strong customer empathy by applying service design tools and techniques such as personas, customer journey mapping, stakeholder mapping, service blueprinting and business modelling and other tools from scrum or lean.
Maturing our team by building and optimizing lean and clean processes

Have solid consulting skills: being able to influence on C-level, demonstrating strong MS Office skills and experienced in building a pitch
Understand the dynamics of new business models like beyond banking and/or platforms
Be tech-savvy and able to assess the impact of technology how offers from startups will have an impact on the customer experience
Be well organized whilst displaying high flexibility
Show a high level of autonomy & take ownership
Have strong communication & networking skills
Have a bias towards action combined with tons of courage & perseverance
Being able to work in Dutch is an advantage.
