In this wide-ranging role, well be looking to you as our expert advisor, using your engineering and commercial experience to guide and train others, develop and maintain data standards and processes, while promoting collaboration and best practices.
Youll be pivotal in helping to develop a global information management community across various Shell businesses, which is effective and drives performance. That means delivering practical solutions that take multiple agendas into account, with responsibilities including:
Providing consultancy to capital projects and assets.
Defining and maintaining information management solutions.
Implementing appropriate incentives and controls.
Naturally, youre the kind of person who will thrive on working virtually with a diverse range of cultures and countries, sharing your knowledge and expertise with a number of internal and external stakeholders, to successfully develop people and processes across the globe.
As youll be giving training and consultancy worldwide, some travel will also be a part of the job.
Where you fit in
Youll be a key part of our Capital Projects IM/IT Functional Excellence team, with a focus on d efining best practice in Shell for Information Management and Information Technology in capital projects and engineering. The team also hosts the Technical Data Management discipline that underpins the digitalisation of the project management, engineering and asset management functions.
