Sales Support Officer 1.0 FTE
The Sales Support Officer is part of the Sales Support team (7 members) and reports to the Team Leader Sales Support. The Sales Support Officer is responsible for providing effective customer support by processing orders, responding to customer and sales representatives inquires, solving problems and customer complaints on orders, so that the customer satisfaction and continuity of the relationship is guaranteed. The ideal Sales Support Officer needs to be a real team player and enthusiastic to support growth and process improvement.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Handling all activities related to order and logistics processing:
Accept and process customer orders, system entry and customer confirmation; Taking care of all the necessary export documents and administrative acts;
Organize incoming and outbound (inter)national transport (sea, air and road transport) with all associated documents to deliver on agreed terms;
Take care of the invoicing;
Deal with customer complaints and resolve the issue as necessary. Coordinate returns and credits;
Interacts with international customers, distributors, carriers and internal departments;
Be familiar with export and import requirements, by country;
Providing support to other departments as needed, such as Accounts Receivable with overdue invoices and updating billing information;
Ensures and provides quality services to both internal / and external customers;
Deliver pro-active and focused support to Area Managers and Sales Managers;
Assist in developing work procedures and work instructions;
Must be knowledgeable of, and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.
MBO+/ or HBO degree (interest in export/logistics) with minimum 4 years Sales Support and/or logistics experience with knowledge of handling export documentation;
Experience with working with an ERP and CRM system is a pre (e.g., Movex, SAP, Dynamics) and Microsoft Office;
Good knowledge of Dutch and English verbal and written is a must. Other languages are a plus;
Good communication and social skills;
Problem solving skills, including the ability to multi-task;
Competences: customer focused, positive attitude, proactive attitude and team worker;
Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities;
Able to pay attention to detail and work with deadlines/delivery dates.
