About the Role
Ubers Global Security Organisation protects our workforce, assets and facilities across the globe. To accomplish our mission, we are seeking a Regional Security Centre Manager who will develop, align and lead our regional operation centre and intelligence programs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The role will lead the teams seamless integration with our EMEA Security team and colleagues across the Global Security Organisation. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, busy and fast-paced Security, Analysis and Crisis Management role. This position has two main deliverables: to oversee the Regional Security Centre to ensure senior management receives actionable information to help them make quick, well-informed decisions during major events. The role will also lead an experienced and high performing team of intelligence analysts to identify, assess and escalate near-term threats/incidents that may pose a risk to Ubers staff, assets and operations across EMEA.
What Youll Do
Manage the Regional Security Centre in support of Regional Head of Security, the Global Security Centre, and other Global Security teams as required.
Oversee staff training, design and implementation of processes of the Regional Security Centre.
Track key performance metrics of the Security Centre and implement improvements as required.
Manage a cross-functional Security Centre team to ensure the safety and security of our global workforce
Oversee precise and timely communication, escalation and coordination during a crisis / major incident.
Oversee the monitoring of, collection, and analysis of information from disparate open sources and internal databases about incidents that may affect Ubers employees, facilities and operations.
Oversee the development of near-term, incident-based intelligence products that increase awareness and understanding of EMEA security issues
Support the Global Travel Security program with country risk ratings and travel security briefings
Identify internal and external solutions to obtain, review, and process information in the utmost ethical and legal manner.
Network and interact, as well as support effective partnerships with key groups and individuals
Prioritise ongoing and new projects, as well as conduct research and gather information.
What Youll Need
8+ Minimum years of experience within Physical Security
Experience within a corporate security environment will be essential
Ability to interact and connect with diverse stakeholders across a full specutrum of business lines.
Demonstrate ownership of planning and executing strategies across multiple regions.
Thrive in a fast-moving high pressured environment.
Ability to understand and adapt to our internal customers needs and aligning operation on a global scale
