About the Role
On the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, were helping to scale our most impactful processes and initiatives, support markets, and drive innovation in the business.
The Regional Restaurant Operations team is focused on managing the lifecycle of our thousands of Restaurant Partners across Europe, Middle East, and Africa to ensure that working with Uber is a simple, low stress, and rewarding experience. Restaurant Operations Managers are tasked with identifying operational weaknesses in the region, digging deep into the data to surface key findings that will help us improve or innovate new processes, and allow our local operations teams to efficiently operate and grow.
What Youll Do
Big ideas. We are looking for people that can think outside of the box and swim upstream
Onboarding Processes. Optimize processes to help restaurants achieve their first delivery on the platform in a minimum timeframe, at minimum costs, and in a manner set up for success
Develop Gold Standards for the region and share with city teams the best practices
Analytics. Analysis of our onboarding processes and costs to drive efficient and cost-effective growth of restaurants on our platform
Execution. Lead the execution process and be responsible for the rollout schedule of new related product features and regional initiatives
Product. Become the Regional POC for relevant HQ product teams to enthusiastically search for new features which could improve the restaurant onboarding experience by presenting data driven cases for changes
Accountability. This is a highly hands-on, operational team with a regional scope. Take ownership of Uber Eats’ growth in the region and do what’s needed to get the job done.
What Youll Need
At least 3 years of operations experience, analytics, consulting, or related experience
Exceptional Excel / data management skills. SQL is a must.
Explorer – the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. Self-starter attitude is a must!
Comfort with ambiguity. You are unfazed by executing on projects where all the information is not always available and priorities can change as more data comes to bear
Balance attention to detail with swift execution – we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength
Clear communicator. You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the important points, and disseminate actionable insights
Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment.

Restaurant Operations is one of our 6 key verticals within Central Operations. We focus on scaling operational processes across EMEA that drive the restaurants success on our platform. We strive to enhance the restaurant experience and empower partners to build a high quality and reliable delivery service into their core business.
