For our business unit GKN Fokker Aerostructures with work location Papendrecht or Hoogeveen, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. You will play a key role in managing the multi-site internal and external audit program, Business Management System (BMS) certification and Special Processes (Nadcap) certification of an Aerospace Multinational, acting in a complex and highly demanding business environment. You will have a high level of freedom to shape the enablers and conditions needed to achieve the objectives for this position.
You will be part of the Quality Systems & Methods and Quality Assurance department of GKN Fokker Aerostructures. You will be based in either Papendrecht or Hoogeveen and provide onsite support at all GKN Fokker Aerostructures sites (Papendrecht & Hoogeveen regularly, Atlanta-USA, Chihuahua-Mexico and Bucharest- Romania incidentally). You will report to the Manager Quality Systems & Methods and Quality Assurance.
You are responsible for:
You will be a business partner to the internal business process owners such as:
Subject Matter Expert on Aerospace Regulations and Industry Standards.
Coordinator/innovator of the internal and external audit program, processes and systems.
Internal auditor, providing an independent perspective on BMS compliance, adherence and effectiveness.
Intermediary with authorities/certifying bodies and host for external audits.
Improvement support, to continually improve the BMS and its Processes.
Key topics at this moment are:
Developing a next level of maturity and performance of our internal and external audit program,
Migrating our current QMS to a process and risk based BMS.
Translating Industry 4.0 impact to the Business Management System.
Certification to ISO14001/45001/50001.
The integration and harmonization with the parent company GKN with respect to policies and standards.
Your skills and competences are:
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in aerospace or industrial engineering and management with at least 5 years of experience in Quality roles related to Aerospace industry or similar highly regulated markets. Besides Quality Management Systems you are familiar with Safety, Environmental and Energy Management Systems. Other requirements are:
