Our Customer Experience & Insights department within Digital
As Product Owner Consumer Web you will be part of our Customer Experience & Insights team. At Customer Experience & Insights its all about our digital customer touchpoints and how we can extract relevant data in order to further drive ROPO (Research Online, Purchase Offline) and increase turnover in our stores. Our Product Owners, UX, SEO, CRO, Loyalty Marketing specialists and Data Analysts work together agilely to map and influence the customer journey using tailormade content. Through our website, newsletter, social channels and soon also the Action Consumer Apps, we are building an omnichannel customer experience platform that will impact the entire Action organization. As a Product Owner Web you are responsible for carrying out a customer centered roadmap for our Action website. You will be involved in initiating, coordinating and implementing cross channel related initiatives. Your skills provide you with a helicopter view, commercial mindset and customer centered focus. You handle all different stakeholder demands that cross your path. You combine their wishes and ideas and guard the realization of new functionalities. You are able to handle any challenge and to translate the wishes of the stakeholders into executable user stories, which you will prioritize in the product backlog. You will make essential trade-offs in each sprint and guard the Agile mindset within the development teams.
In this role you will work closely with the other Product Owners headed by a Lead Product Owner. Besides that, you will work in an immediate collaboration with an external development agency which is located in Amsterdam.
As Product Owner Web you will be responsible for:
Prioritizing user stories based on customer need, insights of the business and requirements on development
Transparently communicating and managing the Web roadmap in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Managing costs, time (progress) and scope of the Web development (including approving the completed functionalities and making the required trade-offs) to maximize budget effectiveness
Estimating required time, costs, and impact of implementing stories from the backlog
In collaboration with the Agile Coach youll be coordinating and facilitating sprint/release planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives and demos
Fostering and coaching the team for adoption of Agile tools and practices
Coordinating progress of the outsourced IT team and vendors
Who are you?
You combine a pro-active, innovative and positive attitude with a customer centered focus and commercial mindset. You abilitize strong people management, product leadership skills and with your analytical, pragmatic and can-do mentality you get things done in the right way. You understand how to drive a high impacted customer experience. You are an effective communicator, comfortable in aligning and working closely together with your key stakeholders from the Digital and Marketing departments within Action. With your Agile mindset you are able and willing to constantly adapt to changing realities.
Besides that we require:
Completed Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Technical Business Management with a strong and demonstrable IT component.
3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably within an omnichannel retail environment
Proven track record in (native apps) product development
Professional Scrum Product Owner I certified
Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English
