In doing so you share best practices in and across Pricing-, Marketing- and Sales Excellence functions and our business units (BUs) worldwide, and support Implementation managers and BU Marketing and Sales Excellence staff.

Pricing Excellence Analyst
The role and its responsibilities
This role is based at (please provide location), the Netherlands, from where you perform a wide variety of Margin Management and Pricing Architecture tasks, constantly interacting with BU Sales and Marketing in order to gather accurate data. You then translate data into insights and define and test architectures.
This requires you to:
Support, assemble and lead cross-functional teams to capture pricing opportunities;
Report on Pricing- and Margin Management program and project progress;
Analyze ongoing pricing performance and identify new pricing opportunities;
Prepare and co-lead Pricing- and Margin management working sessions, acting as support and analytic thought partner for pricing-, product, and sales leadership on pricing-related issues.
In addition you support the development of long-term pricing strategies for complex products/services by:
Preparing management communication about pricing implementation status;
Aligning the approach and output format, supporting the sales teams to ensure successful implementation.
In order to achieve all this you perform outstanding data collection, cleansing, validation and analysis for comprehensive insights. You also design and adapt Pricing Excellence (PE) tools and identify and develop PE improvements and capabilities based on new insights.
At all times you identify, report and discuss key issues and develop action plans with the Pricing Implementation managers.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

University degree in Finance, Marketing, or Economics;
At least 4 years of experience in a commercial environment;
Project management experience;
Excellent in MS-Office applications, ERP/BW and CRM;
Expertise in the use of analytics, statistics and/or visualization software (e.g. Tableau, R, Alteryx, SAS) is an advantage;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including excellent written and spoken English.
