In this role, you have the opportunity to
Formulate strategies for end-2-end Parts lifecycle decisions to optimize customer experience and operational costs over the lifecycle of a service part.
Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS), part of Services and Solutions Delivery organization, is the single service parts provider within Philips Healthcare. SPS is responsible for the total service parts supply chain from the factory/suppliers to the regions. The strategy is to maximize the service part availability, minimize the total cost of operation and minimize the inventory level. To realize this strategy, SPS operates a global service parts network, including supply management, strategic planning, supply chain execution systems, forward Logistics (warehouse/distribution), Business Partner Management, reverse logistics and IT tools.
The Parts Lifecycle function in SPS. Together with a team of professionals you drive towards the best end-2-end decisions over the lifecycle of service/spare parts. In this role you are primarily interacting with people across all businesses in service and R&D departments.

You are responsible for
Shape the future of Parts Lifecycle decision processes as part of New Part Introduction and ongoing Lifecycle changes. This includes optimal Field Replaceable Unit definitions, embedding of Design for Service concepts into design policies, exploration of new technologies such as additive manufacturing and active support on product platform opportunities.
In collaboration with businesses, Lead New Product Introduction service parts strategy and deployment, including complete Supply Chain Masterdata, translating Life Cycle information from the Business Unit to SPS Strategic Planning for inventory strategy, and corrective action throughout a product lifecycle including, change order management, end-of-production and end-of-life planning.
Maintain and validate checklist for NPI & Replaced by service parts master data
Assess impact of engineering changes on service inventory
Direct appropriate actions within the businesses to assure customer satisfaction thru service parts quality and availability appropriate to Product and Key Market support strategy
Review the overall performance, (repair cycle times/lead times, inventory levels, Critical Parts List, spare part product Quality, spare parts cost price reduction) with and determine corrective actions in the area of parts availability, lifecycle, design and service processes.
Develop cost effective business cases for Service Parts support strategies, including Last Time Buy (LTB) of material, parts recovery.
Relationship management with business organizations (R&D, service).
Lead the sustainability related goal to increase the usage of circular economy through parts recovery.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
10+ years of experience in product design or supply chain management, preferably in a service environment with customer oriented/facing roles.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions and organizations.
Proven ability in defining and implementing strategies to transform businesses functions.
Result oriented, being persuasive, encouraging and motivating and able to drive performance across functions.
Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact at the senior management level.
Proven people management skills.
Proven global skills. Experience in cross-cultural environment teamwork.
Willingness to spend time traveling (10%).
Basic understanding of project management is preferred (Prince2, PMP Basics).
