We challenge you to take responsibilities of the planning & interdependency function within the Project Management Office of the Philips Integrated IT Landscape Implementation Organization (PIO) and bring it to the next level in our maturity.
The Planning Manager role is part of the overall PIO Program Management Office (100+ million euro per annum), reporting into the Planning & Interdependency lead. The PMO function consists of an international set of staff members, operating in the global strategic program environment of Philips. Location is Eindhoven – Netherlands.
Key areas of responsibility
Applies project management methodology, best practices and standards;
Monitors the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk;
Provides a consultative role to projects and or programs by supplying templates, best practices, training, access to information and lessons learnt from other projects;
Provides project / program management with regular performance status, variances to plan and identification of areas for corrective actions;
Coordinating communication across projects;
Monitors compliance to project management standards, policies, procedures and templates;
Preparation for Key monthly meetings like Deep-dives, SteerCo w.r.t planning reports;
Leveraging the overall program planning management facility in relation to on-, near and off-shore capabilities including growth strategy;
Coordination of all program plans (including interdependencies) in the landscape of a multi-million program environment;
Within the central program management office, acting as a center of expertise in relation to planning & portfolio management and be single point of contact for program and project managers.
Bachelor or Master degree;
5+ years of experience in the area of Project Management and or Project Management Office in a Business Transformation or Business to Business environment;
Knowledge of Project Management methods in Royal Philips (e.g. PMBOK) is preferred;
Background in portfolio instruments such as CA Clarity and or Planisware;
Demonstrated experience of project planning skills with in depth knowledge of planning tool, Microsoft Project (Advance level);
Strong Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
