The Poultry Team, as part of the Innovation Organization, ensures that the portfolio of products and services for poultry sector is innovative, unique and matching the needs of our customers. Reporting directly to the Global Poultry Director, we are looking for a Marketing Manager Poultry to join the team.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As Marketing Manager Poultry, you bring branded value propositions to market by developing and managing marketing and communications strategies for the entire poultry portfolio of products, programs and services. You also support in new innovation projects to meet future market needs.
You ensure that our poultry programs and services are strategically and strongly positioned to meet customers needs across multiple markets. You do this in close collaboration with colleagues in cross-functional project teams and in our operating companies.
In your role as Marketing Manager Poultry, you fulfill three responsibility areas:
Develop clear, competitive and market relevant value propositions as well as marketing and communications strategies for the entire poultry portfolio.
Drive market research activities underpinning the development of the marketing strategy.
Advise and support on the marketing strategy and on the long-term vision and roadmap, as well as on the development of new value propositions and their fit to the poultry portfolio.
Portfolio & Life Cycle Management
Oversee and manage the portfolio of global offerings (products, programs and services) incl. phase-in and phase-out of offerings in local markets to need specific market needs.
Identify and assess new market opportunities, monitor customer satisfaction and understanding of our offerings, and identify improvements based on market feedback.
Market intelligence and benchmark the portfolio and value propositions with competitors.
Marketing and Positioning, and Launch Management
Manage and coordinate MarCom activities, initiatives and materials in line with the poultry marketing strategy in a timely manner.
Drive and think in complementary online/digital and offline marketing activities such as website, social media, and new technologies for marketing campaigns.
Drive the launch of new value propositions in collaboration with marketing colleagues in the operating companies in various markets. Coach on branding, marketing and communication to build consistent and concise positioning.
This is a full-time position with our headquarters in Amersfoort. You can expect to travel internationally up to 25% of working time.
+8 years of experience in marketing management in the field of animal nutrition, animal pharma or health, agriculture/farming products working with globally branded value propositions. You have worked internationally, regionally or locally with portfolio- and life cycle management of preferably a combination of products, programs and services.
Proven track record in working with complementary online/digital and offline marketing activities and communication tools.
Ability to manage and coordinate international projects involving multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional team and local markets, making sure progress is made according to timelines and milestones.
A team-player that collaborates with colleagues at different locations. An open and constructive attitude with a strategic yet operational lets make things happen mind-set. Self-driven, results-orientated and able to work independently with a sense of urgency and able to get things done.
Strong listening and communication skills to understand market needs and influencing skills to achieve business objectives.
Experience with poultry is a preference.
Fluent in English (writing and speaking) is mandatory, and knowledge of other languages is considered a plus.
Masters degree in marketing/business, agriculture, animal/veterinary science, animal nutrition, animal production or animal health.
Can undertake international travel up to 25% of working time.
