Marketing Intern in Automotive Business

We are looking for a Marketing intern to join our Marketing team for 6 to 12 months. You will be a member of the Automotive Marketing team in TomToms Automotive Business Unit. This unit markets our Location Technology products to the Car Makers industry. These vary from products for todays cars like maps, traffic information, speedcams and in-dashboard navigation software.
Tomorrows technology like ADAS-maps are used by smart cruise control systems in trucks or cars to help the driver in driving the car safely and comfortably (e.g. taking over gear shifting and speed control). We also market products for the day after tomorrow on our way to Autonomous driving. Our HD map makes sure a self-driving car can do centimeter accurate positioning, knows the world around it for the right perception and can take actions far in advance to do its path planning.
You will learn how to translate complex high tech products to understandable content for the B2B as well as the B2B2C audience. We use all channels from the marketing mix, ranging from Digital to Events and from Social to Print.
What youll do
Support Global Director Marketing Automotive and a team of Partner Marketeers;
Assist in creation of content (written, images, videos. etc.);
organize small marketing campaigns;
Coordinate/manage (internal) events, webinars and documents;
Help with the distribution of our message through bigger international events.
Some projects that you will work on:
Create B2B Personas overviews;
Plan, schedule and support the TomTom Automotive Roadshow;
Analyse Events/conferences for future attendance;
What youll need
Fluent in written and spoken English;
Good with storytelling;
To be pro-active, motivated, adaptable and open-minded;
Creative mindset and a structured way of working;
You should be enrolled as a full-time student for the complete duration of the internship;
You are an EU citizen or enrolled in a Dutch university.
Whats nice to have
Speaking Dutch is a pre;
Experience in video shooting/editing and/or photography.
