The Order Management Global Process Senior Manager is responsible for leading projects and improves processes relating to Order Management and Commercial Operations across the world. The role is an extension of our Order Management Global Process Owner, meant to expand efforts currently done supporting Order Management and our business partners throughout the division.
In this role, the Global Process Senior Manager works with the GPO and business stakeholders to identify processes and structures for improvement, manages projects in support of Commercial Operations, communicates and trains teams, and helps gather feedback from across the globe to ensure we can properly grow and scale our Commercial Operations organization.
Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:
Manages projects in support of our Commercial Operations teams, including Order Management but also potentially impacting Sales, CRM Teams, Order Fullfilment, and Finance.
Supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas of opportunity & waste and using our PPI business tools to collaboratively work across various business teams to find solutions.
Bring subject-matter expertise of Commercial Operations, including best practices and act as a source of innovation within the team.
Supports process enhancement projects and ensures accurate delivery of global projects for the Chromatography Division (CMD) working closely with GPO and IT stakeholders. Responsibilities could include development, testing, documentation, and roll-out activities relating to the projects.
Acts as a critical source to gather feedback from our teams and partners, including obstacles and opportunities for improvement, to be shared with GPO and regional Commercial Operations Senior Manager.
Maintains CMD standard process/policy documentation and SAP work instructions so that documents are up-to-date and fit for use.
Responsible for communication and training of regional teams when necessary.
Covers both SAP as well as our CPQ quoting tool.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
University degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5-8 years of related work or educational experience.
Experience leading projects across multi-functional teams

Experience around Order Management / Commercial Operations processes and best practices
Demonstrated skills in both process improvement as well as project management, project planning, and status tracking

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Must possess solid judgment and able to work autonomously from established goals and strategic direction must be able to cope with ambiguity

Solid presentation, communications and influencing skills demonstrated through both written and spoken communication & can work with other countries and cultures
Computer and software skills specifically with SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite
Solid statistical skill and the ability to develop and measure metrics
Ability to travel 25-50 % (including international travel)
