The Logistics Outbound Manager is responsible for daily outbound operations in warehousing and Pre Delivery Installation (PDI) services in multiple European Logistics Centres and transportation across Europe. In this role you continuously develop warehousing activities in close collaboration with 3PL in order to:
Cope with the organic business growth and ensure that the services remain compliant with the requirements of the business
Make sure 3PLs deliver in line with agreed SLAs and costs
Furthermore you support operational projects related to warehousing, outbound transport and PDI. Besides this you are responsible for services delivered by carriers against correct cost control and SLA. As well you make sure claims/complaints are properly followed up and route causes are analysed to prevent issues from re-occuring. Then you are responsible for reporting staffs, job descriptions and regular performance reviews in line with Business Operations and HR requirements. And finally you manage and motivate the team and takes the lead in proactively communicating with them and ensuring that they are aware of business changes and developments.

Our offer includes a competitive salary, 31 days annual leave, performance-based bonus scheme and Canon products at discount prices;
Full-time (40 hours per week) contract, which will be initially for one year, and based on good performance can be extended to permanent; and
A dynamic role with a strong international focus forming part of the wider Canon Logistics and Supply Chain Management group.

HBO/University level of education in logistics or business economics.
Experience in a management position in a complex environment, preferable in an operational and change management role.
Affinity with systems (ERP, TMS, WMS).
Sound analytical capability to detect and drive improvement & efficiency.
Strong communicator and leader of team
Strong drive to achieve best possible performance with the team
Strong will to motivate people
Structured way of working and pro-active attitude
In addition to relevant local language(s), proficiency in English at working level required.
