In this role, you have the opportunity to obtain work-experience in a professional and highly international environment, while becoming more familiar with the rules and regulations around Data Privacy, and the efforts Philips undertake to continue to remain compliant in its activities.
You are responsible for
Supporting the Legal Compliance team with the management and coordination of the Philips privacy process related to Data Subject Rights (e.g. the right to erasure, the right of access, etc).
You will work closely with various expert-colleagues to handle internal and external data subject right requests, and support with relevant data protection activities as required.
Furthermore, you will maintain a central repository of data subject requests, ensuring that all data subjects are processed correctly within the required timelines set out in the EU GDPR. Next to this you will help to innovate and strengthen this process, thinking of ways to make it even more efficient and automated.
Next to the work in the privacy domain, you will also be exposed to other legal compliance projects, such as our third-party due diligence screening program.
You are a part of
You will be an integral part of the Legal Compliance team, working closely with expert colleagues from the Data Privacy organization and teams within, amongst others, HR, IT and Enterprise Information Management.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
You are studying towards a Bachelor or Master at University (-College); Law and Technology, Digital Information or any other related background
A demonstrated interest in the data privacy landscape/technology;
Experience working in a team based project;
Fluency in English (oral and written), German is a plus;
Possessing strong communicative skills and a pro-active attitude;
Possessing strong organizational skills and has an eye for detail;
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
Has a GPA of at least 7.
