Global HR Business Partner COO Wholesale Banking
We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner, COO Wholesale Banking reporting directly to the Senior HR Director for the COO domain.
In this role you will be supporting the designated global function within Wholesale Banking to achieve its strategic objectives by guiding & steering on HRBP topics such as organisational design, change, talent management and performance management by translating the WB COO business and Global HR strategies and priorities into a people agenda and deliver outcomes to ensure human capital is optimally managed. The role requires interaction and advice to be given at the highest level, including country and global WB management teams.
What youll do
Responsible, together with management team for development and implementation of the HR strategies to meet the business requirements
Acts as natural sparring partner of management, providing HR support, challenge and advice to multiple business lines on complex cross border issues, involving all relevant stakeholders
Develops organisational capability and leadership succession to anticipate change in business and leadership requirements and execute the business strategy
Drives more robust and transparent performance improvement culture (Step Up)
Partners with countries to enable execution of HR strategy including business transformations (e.g. Target Operating Models)
Deploys workforce analytics to optimise HR decisions
Manages annual compensation round for the assigned global function to retain, attract and motivate talent, in line with the recognition management framework of the bank
Responsible for strategic recruitment, including executive searches and team hires
Partner with Senior HRD and countries to drive HR Transformation (HR Target Operating model) and HR capability across WB to ensure highly effective and highly efficient HR support to deploy the banks strategy.
Innovates for the future; build and further enhance foundational and distinctive capabilities
Roll out of global OPS profile/OPS academy
Enhances employee engagement and bring back trust
Continues building the leadership capability & maturity of our middle managers
Establishes and implements a retention strategy for each of the locations aligned with the local needs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to drive and execute change in terms of work deliverables and culture
Regulatory experience is desirable
Self-aware and a leadership style with a strong focus on people development
Strong communication, English proficiency and stakeholder management skills
