ATG SpaceLabs is the engineering and technology development department of ATG Europe. This group of over 15 highly skilled and motivated space engineers supports its customers in design, analysis and overall verification of products for many large ESA missions. Projects often span from phase A up to and including C/D (and beyond) and can range from niche analyses to full PDR or CDR loops including design consultancy. ATG SpaceLabs is involved in research and development programs focusing on composites and their application in the aerospace, semiconductor and maritime industry. By combining a research level expertise with a down-to-earth problem solving approach, it is able to offer innovative solutions to complex issues on time, within budget.
Tasks & Responsibilities
This job primarily entails digitization of pre-existing electrical drawings and PIDs, with the majority being electrical drawings. These drawings detail among others the installations facilities of ATG customers. The digitization strictly has to be performed in SEE Electrical Expert software;
Though this work is not directly concerning design of electrical systems, a good working knowledge of such systems is considered to be essential in efficiently performing the tasks. Additionally, it is preferred that the candidate is substantially skilled in the software SEE Electrical Expert;
Due to the importance of the installations and the level of reliability expected from these digitized drawings, the candidate is expected to have very good attention to detail and ability to work without much overhead. Quality Assurance and Control are key elements of the work;
The job is to be performed on-site at ATG Europe HQ in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. This is a full-time position for at least one year. Part-time employment can be discussed. Both entry level and experienced candidates can apply. Starting date as soon as possible and preferably no later than 1 April 2018.
Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or other relevant field;
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience;
Knowledge of electrical installations and PIDs;
Ability to work independently;
Attention to detail and diligence in work;
Ability to manage deadlines;
Ability to identify potential unknowns/difficulties early in the work;
Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English;
Knowledge of SEE Electrical Expert.
