The Solutions Transformation program will equip markets, businesses, and functions with capabilities to develop, market, sell and deliver solutions to solve the needs of our customers, ensuring consistency, scalability and re-use throughout the company. This strategic program will be a step-change in the value we are able to deliver to our customers.
The program will unlock business opportunities, contributing to our strategic ambition to grow solutions to become 35% of our revenue by 2020.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Endorse the role of a project manager driving the marketing aspects of our solution transformation program. You will work closely with the marketing transformation program and be the linking pin between innovation, sales, operations and business models standardization to ensure on-going business value to our customers. You will have an opportunity to bring inputs to or shape white spaces regarding the most transformational aspects of Philips strategy (e.g. data driven value propositions, customer challenges focused marketing, impact of new business models on our portfolio)
You will work together with marketing transformation staff, solution marketing counterparts in the businesses & markets and business process experts.
From a marketing background in this role you are able to leverage your project management and leadership & stakeholder management skills as you will be actively contributing and partner up with the wider marketing community.
You are responsible for
Identifying and driving marketing solution related projects. This means that you are fully responsible for continuously partnering up with various stakeholders, engage them and steer them in order to successfully deliver the projects. As Project Manager you will be working closely with Business Process Owners & Experts, together you will coordinate the development of process, tools and competencies required for Philips marketing to be solutions proof. You will also drive the change across businesses and markets, ensuring adoption of our new standards and mindset.
Furthermore you will take care of the following:
Identified marketing whitespaces drive gap analyses, gather best practices and propose (and pilot) new ways of working, engaging the right experts in business, market and group marketing and business process experts;
Alignment with marketing transformation to monitor, report and mitigate risk of the deployment status of solution transformation critical marketing capabilities;
You will function as Marketing Subject Matter Expert for Solution Transformation initiatives like Strategic Account Management, Service and Solution delivery, Business Model Innovation.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
As a project manager you are a strong and independent processional who is able to navigate the complex Philips environment. Your result driven mentality combined with a strong focus on stakeholder management ensure that you will be able to influence internal customers throughout the whole organization. As project manager you are also a strong communicator who is able to align with stakeholders on all levels of the organization. With your structured and organized approach you will be able to quickly adapt to the dynamic environment and will ensure that you quickly understand and resolve issues on your path.
Furthermore you can bring the following:
Ability to see the bigger picture and how various program components interconnect and influence each other;
Extensive experience in marketing in a solution environment;
Proven project management skills;
Experience in change management and/or transformation programs;
Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage.
