The Desk site support engineer performs activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing computer-related products. This is including but not limited to desktop & laptop computers, smart devices, printers, network devices, standard software, and low-end document processors at various customer sites. In this role you provide on-site support assisting the end-users in resolving issues addressed to you by the Global ServiceDesk. Think of assignments range in complexity from basic troubleshooting and repair to installing and configuring the users workplace. He/she achieves the productivity metrics associated with their position. The desk site support engineer reports hierarchically to the Team Lead SD / WP in the Global IT Services organization.
What are your responsibilities:
Position may perform activities in a directed workforce environment handling DTS and legacy calls on a wide range of equipment.
Takes routine service calls and performs basic computer installations based upon Ivanti / Five9s technology;
Performs simple AD administration tasks (e.g.: password resets);
Performs installs, moves, adds and changes in a client environment;
May provide basic deskside support of personal computers, associated software and Lync Enterprise voice;
Handles basic, non-complex products and/or problems in relation to MS office, Windows and Web browsing;
Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanour and dress;
Insures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.

What you bring:
Minimum of 1 2 years experience in a similar role or Service desk environment;
General knowledge of desktop hardware and software including working knowledge of Microsoft applications;
Knowledge and experience of Windows 10, Office Suite and Microsoft Active directory;
Basic troubleshooting and repair ability;
Ability to test PC, servers and associated peripherals and/or low-end document processor products;
Ability to resolve very basic/non-complex problems as required;
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of electro static discharge (ESD) procedures;
Experience with ServiceNow would be considered beneficial;
Good communicative skills both in Dutch as in English language;
Driving license (category B) is a requirement for this function;
In this position you should be willing to travel approximately 60% of your time delivering support in Belgium and the Netherlands.
