The Global Domains are aligned by technology to create agile delivery teams – Secure Infrastructure is the biggest of the five core technical domains that have been formed, we cover 20+ Products including Azure Infrastructure, Windows Server, Windows Client, System Centre, Hyper-V, VMM, Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure RMS, Devices & Application Management, Cyber, and Security & Identity.
This is a unique opportunity to embark on a new and exciting career as a Delivery Management Manager (DMM) for the Secure Infrastructure (SI) Domain driving the portfolio in Germany and CEE. As a part of the SI team, you will intentionally foster and grow customer and partner relationships and apply delivery management best practices to ensure the adoption and use of quality solutions that meet the business needs of customers and partners, and align with the SI strategy. The DMM serves as the single point of accountability and/or escalation point for all SI projects in . This role has direct people management responsibility for delivery management resources and supervises the services delivery of their assigned team members. The DM Manager is on point to drive customer satisfaction, services revenue growth & profitability.
Ensures that his or her team is consistently using appropriate delivery-management methodologies, processes, and tools, regardless of deal complexity.
Is responsible for his or her team meeting or exceeding financial performance metrics.
Drive his or team of Project Managers to deliver successful solution deployments and ensure proper business value while maintaining high customer/partner satisfaction.
Makes decisions and works with Resource Managers about resource allocation that account for changing business needs.
Grow the business through mentoring, talent pipeline development, and community evangelism.
Drive operational excellence and innovation through delivery best practices.
Drive active team participation on Community activities, Knowledge Management, IP re-use supporting a Collective Knowledge culture.
Drive Portfolio/Project Profitability, Forecast Accuracy, and Revenue Recognition, for consulting contracts, and other financial and business metrics, as well as data accuracy.
Coaches and develops direct reports, conducts regular connect meetings and holds annual performance reviews with direct reports
Drives technical and professional role readiness across their team.
Progressing the talent pipeline through hiring, mentoring and performance management.
