Customer Journey Expert – Business Analyst (Merchant Acquiring Services)
For the Tribe Payments & Cards, we are looking for a Customer Journey Experts with focus on business analyst type of work to join our Merchant Services team (Cards Acquiring).
Together with the other Customer Journey Experts (CJE) you have end-to-end responsibility for the development, management, harmonisation and phasing out of commercial products and services with the goal of achieving an optimal customer experience. You analyze and validate different changes for our Wholesale Banking (WB) clients on completeness and correctness and help with process redesign.
Your work environment:
Wholesale Banking Payments works according to Agile-principles in self-organizing teams. Important aspects in this way of working are self-starting attitude, flexibility, continuous development, continuous improvement, collaboration within the squad and active and positive collaboration with other squads. Within the Merchant Services domain we are working on our international Omnichannel Payments proposition together with Payvision. You will work most of your time in a squad within ING’s agile organisation to achieve the squad’s mission. You are also a member of a Chapter where you develop your craftsmanship as a Customer Journey Expert.
Your key responsibilities
Analyse requirements and designs of changes; in alignment with colleagues and different (international) stakeholders and provide input for solution designs where applicable.
Document the functionalities and updating the existing documentation with the implemented solutions.
Align with parties involved (such as other customer journey experts, squads, architects, finance, ORM, IRM, legal and external suppliers) to make sure the designed solution is in line with the requirements and policies.
Support the squad in user acceptance testing and aligning with the stakeholders.
Act as the subject matter expert in his/her functional domain and provide training and support to the relevant (support) teams and squads.
Share the responsibility to provide a differentiating experience for INGs customers at optimal value and profitability for ING.
Offer solutions by seamless integration into the value chain of our clients and by connecting it with other internal and external capabilities.
Apply your experience in building and managing the products with an end-to-end mindset, including the needed COPAF design and implementation and business operations and services.
Who are you?
Skills and experience
Bachelor or Master degree / level.
Minimal 3-5 years of experience as Business Analyst in the Cards Acquiring domain, preferably within a PSP/ online web-shop payments domain.
Ability to translate business (both functional and technical) requirements into solution design(s)
While not being an IT engineer yourself you are tech savvy and able to challenge on IT solutions and issues.
Strong Communication Skills
Solid knowledge and experience within Cards Acquiring and Alternative Payments Methods.
Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum team is an advantage.
Hands-on and willing to work closely with the Developers, Finance and Operations specialists.
Excellent English language skills; Dutch is an advantage.
Depending on your skills and experience you are a go-to person on Cards Acquiring and/or PSP topics.
You are proactive, and have a natural drive to act and deliver results on time.
Excellent team player.
Ability to collaborate effectively and autonomously with teams outside of ING (either with other ING subsidiaries or external suppliers).
Take initiative, work accurate and in a structured and disciplined manner, has patience and resilience to handle setbacks.
Have a sharp eye for details, while not losing the overall picture.
You are highly self-organising, pragmatic and always seek opportunities to improve the work.
