As Corporate Business Development Manager, you will focus on identifying, defining, nurturing and advising on new commercial opportunities and business propositions. You will take a medium- to long-term view, in order to realise scalable and sustainable business opportunities that contribute to the companys growth ambitions for the coming years. In addition, you must be comfortable working independently, and on various projects at the same time. You will be an important part of a young and entrepreneurial Corporate Marketing & Business Development team (around 10 colleagues including two other Business Development Managers) where realising customer expectations and developing value-added business models are key to success. As the Corporate Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
identifying and pursuing new business opportunities from an outside-in customer perspective
validating business models and developing opportunities while adding value
developing and implementing new business development strategies (mid- to long-term)
analysing and shaping strategic partnerships and/or accommodating start-ups
developing and executing new business models across the market
coordinating and/or executing (international) business development actions, in line with approved plans
acting as a point of contact for various stakeholders (sales, marketing, unit and cluster directors etc).
To be eligible for the position of Corporate Business Development Manager, you must have the following profile:
you have obtained a master degree and a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant position and sector (offshore industry is advantageous)
ability to engage with middle and senior management, both internally and externally
excellent command of English, with moderate Dutch skills preferable
proactive attitude, conceptual and analytical capabilities, the ability to network and work effectively as part of a team.
