The (net)work environment
The Network Department, part of the Technical Engineering department within equensWorldline, is in the middle of a transition from a locally oriented towards an international environment. You will be working in this international environment (NL, GE, BE, FR, IT) and therefore expected to align with European colleagues.
Key is to contribute to:
Realizing a high level of standardization throughout the equensWorldline infrastructure;
Delivering End to-End services for Business units;
Supporting business units with our technical expertise.
What will be your job?
The Network BUILD team is responsible for designing, configuring and implementing the new network infrastructures which have to cover either eWL internal needs or the customers needs.
This team is also responsible to handover the management of these infrastructures to the RUN team when the build phase is over, by providing the documentation, the standard operating procedures, the tools etc.
As a Coordinator Network Management your job will be to:
Coordinate and plan daily work, guides the colleagues at continuation of their daily tasks and takes care of information exchange between the Team Manager, projects and the local office;
Coordinate the gathering and translation of (international) project and client requirements (internally/externally) into a technical (detail) infrastructure design and the determination of the impact;
Coordinate and accompany the development and implementation of technical designs, the determination of the required infrastructure components for the solution, the description of the technical flow, the consistence of the components and the security measures needed;
Take care of monitoring of the availability of the assigned systems, signals incidents and/or events and sees to solution on short term, Performs technical analyses and proposes technical solutions for decision making by the TM;
Coordinate and maintain the life cycle of servers, operational systems, software and tooling and generates the technical and financial impact analyses regarding system renewal;
Coordinate and monitor the capacity of the assigned systems, points out trends and/or events and takes care of technical analyses;
Coordinate the problem management process and checks frequently the quality of the actual executed process;
Coach and support colleagues regarding the design and maintenance as well as the ongoing daily business.
What do you have to offer?
You are an experienced coordinator with a strong network and infrastructural background, You are used to act in a dynamic, high pressure international environment.
Higher vocational education or work & thinking level;
Broad knowledge on several process & technical network areas as Prince II, ITIL V3, Routing, switching, Load balancing and Firewalls;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in design and engineering of network infrastructures;
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a coordinating role;
Fluently speaking English, German or French is a pr.

What do we offer in return?
We can offer you a Senior Network Manger job in a growing international company. The possibility to build international network infrastructures based on top of the art technologies. This is a full-time job of 36 hours a week (40 hours a week is optional).
Depending on education and experience, your gross annual salary (including thirteenth month and holiday allowance) will be between 60.500,- and 83.100,- based on a 36 hour work week.

Working hours are determined after consultation with the manager. You will be based in Utrecht (NL).
