About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced a Commercial Category Lead to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Commercial Category Lead lies within the European Category Development Team. Youll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. Youll be reporting into Carlos Faria, Category development Director. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of the Category Strategy will be your primary responsibility. Youre constantly looking for improvement activities within Category development.
In brief, you will be responsible for;
Category/brand development and P&L:
Provide a category lens to the business
Define category strategy together, with Marketing
Plan Go-To-Market on the basis of the execution drivers: Promo, Pricing (both directly using RGMs input), shelf, and 2nd placement, planning 2-12 months
Secure and challenge LE, and secure closing the gaps to achieve AOP
Lead QBR review incl 3-12 month forecasting
Analyse root causes for category and brand development
Develop action plan with CT to act on root causes
Track vs action plan and evaluate learnings
Inform Trade Category Management on the category strategy
Set promo strategy by category based on 3 year brand strategy and customer strategy, incl portfolio & sku mix perspective
Set promo rules by category, brand and account based on in-depth analysis, brand strategy and customer strategy
Create national and per account promo plan (after consultation of RGM, Sales & Mktg) maximizing effectiveness for the Category (cross account)
Set targets for promo KPIs, including field sales
Translate Category Strategy to distribution objectives and shelf targets
Create national and per account distribution plan (after consultation of Sales & Mktg) maximizing effectiveness for
the Category (cross account)
Translate Category Strategy to 2nd placement objectives and shelf targets
Create national and per account 2nd placement plan (after consultation of Sales & Mktg) maximizing effectiveness for the Category (cross account)

Proven track record of advanced analytical skills, problem solving as an owner, taking on entrepreneurial
challenges and simplifying complex issues
Excellent communications skills
Strong Project Management skillset; ability to demonstrate strong influencing and stakeholder development
Technical proficiencies in Office and Nielsen
Experience in FMCG
Experience in positions like; Sales/ Category/ Trade manager
Ability to Simplify
