The Clinical marketing manager is accountable for implementing and executing a strong market readiness and market expansion program. They work within the BiU MR Marketing Clinical Portfolio team together with the Clinical Portfolio Managers, Clinical Application and Clinical Science functions, as well as with Field marketing and Clinical experts in the key-markets world-wide. The clinical marketing manager is required to have strong clinical knowledge and hands-on expertise in MR, as well as communication skills and a strong drive for success.
You are responsible for
Driving a program contributing to market readiness & Post Market expansion
Contributing to the global clinical post-market strategy (including customer and regional segmentation aspects) and drives initiatives such as speaker bureau activities and support of peer-to-peer activities with key markets
Driving a competitive clinical database (images and examcard) supporting the out-of-the-box experience in line with our product value proposition
Working with multiple functions within the BiU MR (inc. Clinical Applications, Clinical Science and Marketing Clinical Portfolio Managers) and worldwide with field marketing and key market clinical experts.
Training (e.g. hands-on) BiU and key market clinical experts on downstream material supporting the clinical adoption plan, in relation with our product value proposition and the competitive landscape
Delivering customer product demonstrations

You are a part of
You will be working in the Business Unit Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) within Philips HealthTech. The Business Unit MRI is a leading supplier for imaging technology in Hospitals. MRI is one of the youngest and most innovative imaging technologies and is growing in applications but also in complexity of the systems and their acquisition techniques.
You work together with R&D other Clinical Portfolio Managers, Clinical Application and Clinical Science functions, as well as with Field marketing and Clinical experts in the key-markets world-wide.
Your team consists of 9 enthusiastic colleagues. You will report to the Clinical portfolio Leader, BIU DI Product Marketing.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Relevant BSc / MSc Degree and at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a medical field environment, e.g. MR Operator or Applications Specialist.
Good knowledge of the MR technologies (imaging, post-processing, workflow) that currently dominate the MR market and familiarities with other imaging modalities (CT, XRay, US).
Good hands on clinical knowledge allowing to understand customer needs and value drivers in the healthcare imaging domain and more specifically MR.
Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback into insights helping clinical adoption
Ability to deliver in a complex environment (high-end technology, highly professional customers, and global scope).
Strong communication skills and ability to lead a multi-functional and global team to contribute to market readiness (clinical adoption) and market expansion. Ability to relate and communicate with different levels and functions in the organization.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience in marketing or sales roles will also be valuable.
Please note that this position requires 25% of global travelling.
