Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for end to end execution of a consulting domain, from sales, through solution design, to delivery, and practice. At the core of the role is the leadership, management, and improvements of the practice focused on working with clients’ planning needs.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, consultative, presence and leadership, and team leadership as well as domain knowledge. Specific responsibilities include: leadership (perform and mentor) on consulting engagement pursuits, oversight of consulting engagement delivery, direction to teams of technically focused architects and service management consultants, practice leadership and capability growth, and administrative and operational required activities.
Pursuit responsibility includes participating in client opportunity identification and qualification calls, understanding client needs and objectives, articulate and formulate solutions design for proposals and statements of work that align to the client needs while managing delivery risk and working with the sales team through deal progression and signing.
Engagement oversight responsibilities include following the ITS Delivery Roadmap to successful project execution. This includes staffing consulting project teams, assisting project leadership (i.e., project manager or engagement leader) in defining or modifying project approach and structure as necessary, deliverables review and participation in key project events as appropriate to help ensure Delivery Excellence.

Understands departmental mission and vision. Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization. Generally controls own work priorities and methods requiring tradeoffs.
Impact on Business/Scope: Accountable for individual or team, or department results, and for the impact of the results on functional activities. Participates in overall departmental program planning. May have budgetary responsibility. Contributes by supporting activities that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or impact immediate costs or expenses
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
This role designs applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages and custom components. This role defines best practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data, and the development of the application, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools. Applications Architects are responsible for applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity. They are also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability. The employee focuses on individual/team/department/ operational objectives.
