As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing engaging and intuitive user experiences for our new and existing web and mobile products. The UX/UI designer will create visual and interaction design concepts, user flows, wireframes, functional mockups, and developer-ready specifications. The UX/UI Designer must be independent yet able to work collaboratively and openly with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Front- and Backend Developers, Business Stakeholders and Users. We are looking for someone who advocates for the user experience and is passionate about presenting complex information in attractive, intuitive, and useful ways.
Design high level and/or detailed wireframes, user flows, navigational maps, interactive prototypes, and visual design mock-ups
Produce responsive UI designs and Graphic Design assets for Product Development team.
To effectively communicate interaction and design ideas that translate business needs and user stories into intuitive and engaging experiences
Develop and iterate on design concepts based on input/feedback from product management, marketing and engineering teams
Translate usability best practices and trends into design improvements relevant to our business needs
Integrate corporate branding and develop style guides that provide consistent and recognizable interfaces and branding for existing and new products
Provide UI and UX evaluations of our existing and new web-based products
Work across and as part of multi-disciplinary teams to define and deliver product experiences
Work closely with the development team to guide the implementation of designs
Participate in user research and testing to continually search for improvements for the user experience
Stay current on UX/UI and technology trends
Higher vocational degree with 3-5 years of relevant Experience in UI and interaction design for enterprise level web and mobile products
Strong background and constantly up-to-speed on current UX/UI principles and best practices
Excellent communication (visual and verbal) and multi-functional teamwork skills
Confidence working on complex web applications with consumer focused product UX/UI
Experience developing platform agnostic and responsive product interfaces
Some web development experience
Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure and associated design and wireframing tools
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
Experience with variety of user research techniques
Experience working with web development teams to implement designs
Experience working with Agile and distributed development teams is a plus
Demonstrable UX skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating wireframes, user flows, and research
Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written. Other language skills (Dutch, German, Spanish, French and Italian) would be a distinct advantage
