The primary office for BESTSELLER E−commerce is based in the centre of Amsterdam and our business includes 20+ fashion brands we sell online in 13 countries.
The department & role
As Finance intern you will be part of a wider Administration team, consisting of 8 dedicated and diverse colleagues. Administration is responsible for HR, Payments & Fraud and Finance.
In this role you will work alongside the financial controllers and accountants assisting in day−to−day activities in different areas of Finance. The internship will give you a broad introduction to working in an international finance department. Besides the daily tasks you will work intensively reconciliation of payments from our customers and partners.
More specifically tasks will include;
Ensure approval of vendor invoices and register vendor invoices
Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
Reconcile orders with payments for different payment methods
Reconcile orders, commissions and payments for different market places
Various other ad hoc tasks, supporting the Finance team in e.g. monthly reporting and annual audit Your profile:

You must be pursuing a HBO or Bachelor degree or are recently graduated
Your career ambitions should be in Finance, Controlling or Accounting.
Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written.
Someone who is precise, entrepreneurial and eager to learn.
Advanced Excel skills are required.
Preferably already living in the Netherlands and available for a period of at least 4 months. Preferred start date: end of August / early September 2017.
