This position contributes to execution of the Global Edible Oil Solutions (GEOS) Europe strategy by leading complex Level 1-3 projects that are part of the business portfolio of projects. In addition, it is designed to add capabilities to the PMO in the areas of Innovation Ideation, Continuous Improvement and Change Management.
Project Management (70%)
Support & Lead Level 1-3 Annual Operating Plan projects (AOP), both commercial and efficiency related projects.
Using Cargill Project Delivery Process and Change Management tools
Lead and motivate cross functional project teams without having direct reporting lines
Provide Project Management Training.
Mentoring and coaching local Project Managers.
Specific M & A projects roles as required on case by case
Support need based Project/ Analysis requirements for the PMO office
Continuous Improvement (20%)
Lead investigation and business case development for innovation needs for broad portfolio of needs including high investment projects and Profit Improvement initiatives.
Lead targeted ideation and improvement workshops by utilizing tools and methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma.
Change Management: (10% (depending on business need))
Support individuals and teams during change process
Provide Change Management training.
University degree in Engineering, Scientific or Business Management (including Finance) fields
5-10 years of business experience in business roles, operations, finance or any other core business functions
General understanding and application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards around project management
Experience in Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.
General understanding of organizational change management.
Ability to drive, with passion, for quality solutions and results.
Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team of individuals by demonstrating people management skills in the areas of coaching, feedback and development.
Able to manage multiple concurrent projects in a customer-focused, consensus-driven environment.
Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong process mindset
Conflict management skills
Willingness to travel 20-30% in Europe.
