At this moment we are hiring a Revenue Optimization Manager .
The role reports to our Vice President supply. In this exciting role you define, challenge, guard and advice, the company to achieve the highest income per air booking. Our aim is to be the best in flights, to be THE online global travel retailer offering the best deals to consumers. This is an ambitious goal and will not be possible without the people who work for our brands with entrepreneurial drive each day.
Travix operates in more than 40 countries, works with 250 and more airlines, connected behind multiple content sources like Amadeus, Worldspan, Pyton, Travelfusion and near future NDC, making >3.000.000 bookings a year. All these components bring significant revenue streams, and volume. Within the Industry Relations department (Supply) we negotiate commercial agreements with our top airline partners on a global, regional or local level, we have volume commitments and back end targets. We need to streamline and balance our portfolio, we aim to reach per each individual contract our highest back-end targets with the highest remuneration without jeopardizing our conversion and best price proposition towards the customer.
Task of this role is to monitor our sales flow on daily/weekly/monthly basis, predict (forecast) performance of every volume (commercial) agreements we have with our partners, and pro-actively advise, challenge and guide the business on run-rates. You monitor day-to-day performance, review back-end targets fulfilment and review and change settings in our rule engine with the purpose to optimize our margin (either upfront or back-end). Next to airline commercial contracts, we also have different commercial (global) agreements with our content (GDS) suppliers: Amadeus/Travelport/Pyton and TravelFusion, these consist with also different commercials and volume obligation, which new need to optimize and balance.
Furthermore you are responsible for:
Develop with our BI team (write the requirements) a comprehensive model with data based on booking date and travel date including all relevant info like total revenue, number of passengers, total flight coupons, mirror all agreements behind monitoring tool, forecast performance with run-rate data, pro-actively report out with advisory towards IR department, VP supply, commercial managers, finance (controllers) and pricing
Identify opportunities, revenue optimizers
Offer dashboards accessible for all relevant related colleagues across the globe with overviews of booking agreement performances, and share per source
Ensuring accurate and in time administrative recording, follow-up & reporting airline and source agreements
