Department Information The Omnichannel Transformation Department drives the change of the organization towards an omnichannel consumer experience.
The department’s objective is to create a seamless consumer experience across all distribution channels thereby connecting online and offline channels as well as elevating the in-store digital consumer experience. The team researches new trends and ideas, evaluates them and decides based on strategic fit to both our brands about implementation scope, timelines and implications on the omnichannel roadmap.
The responsibilities encompass to build the digital tools consumers are interacting with as well as building the back-end omnichannel processes and systems behind needed as a foundation. The biggest achievement so far is the implementation of the solution in our global Tommy Hilfiger Store in London as well as multiple deployments across Europe. The team is constantly improving and further developing new tools based on quantitative and qualitative learnings.

The success of the department is based on the effort and collaboration of many other teams across the organization which are all part of the company’s omnichannel journey. The omnichannel team facilitates and orchestrates the initiates from a business perspective until complete operational implementation as well as guides the cross-functional teams.

Leading cross-functional project teams to design, deliver, test and successfully roll-out omnichannel projects.
Ensure project monitoring and coordination using appropriate project management tools and methodologies, including regular reporting of overall project status, structuring project streams and identifying deliverables, backlog management, project planning, budget controlling, and preparation of management presentations.
Anticipate, identify, and communicate the project status and risks to key stakeholders in IT, different business functions and external vendors.
Design, gather and formalize requirements and shape technical vision for digital products and solutions by creating product vision, user journeys, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Set priorities based on end-users’ needs and stakeholders requirements.
Design and coordinate the implementation plan, including the roll-out strategy, appropriate communication tools, training and support planning/ materials as well as the operational coordination.
Work closely with local country offices and other relevant departments to ensure that projects get implemented smoothly within the organization. Build up a strong internal network.
Support in identifying new opportunities for omnichannel initiates or innovations:
Gather market reviews, competition benchmarks, screen industry / non-industry innovations & start-ups, build best practice framework to scope opportunities for new projects.
Educational requirements: University, with an economic /business /project management or consulting focus
Minimum 2 to 3 years of project management and/or process management experience (in-house or in a consulting firm).
Previous experience in eCom and/or Retail and/or Omnichannel or within an end consumer focused, fast changing, new technology driven environment.
Excellent organizational and project management skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items. Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience to work with scrum/ agile project methodologies
