What’s an IT Chapter Lead within ING Group Services?
Within ING Group services our IT4IT tribe is responsible to create and operate a globally shared engineering platform for all product owners, designers and Dev&Ops engineers. You will join as chapter lead of one of the chapters within IT4IT; CDAAS (Continuous Delivery as a Service) which aims at delivering all the tools and processes which helps to accelerate the delivery of new software and features to our customers. Your chapter covers multiple squads in which you’re responsible for developing, running and maintaining a solution used by many of our software engineers to automate their deployments or alternatively will contribute to the squads delivering capability. Secondly you will be the hierarchical manager of the engineers cross squads, keeping a close relationship with the Product owner and agile coach. Hiring Manager is Peter Toethuis.
One Day selection experience
What the selection process looks like:
If you get invited, it will be to have all your selection meetings on just 1 day. You will meet our Lead Engineers, IT Chapter Leads and one of our experienced IT Recruiters. If you are from outside of the Netherlands, we will explain our relocation package and process. After a short evaluation, we will do you a financial job offer or give valuable feedback why you don’t get one.
Your “backpack” should contain :
You’ve got experience with coaching of devops teams to improve their software development processes.
You’ve got experience with development, configuring and/or maintenance of Team Foundation Server 2017.
You have thorough knowledge of configuration of infrastructure as code.
You’ve got experience with and knowledge of multi-tier applications.
You’ve got experience with and knowledge of object oriented analyses and design and know how to use it.
You have thorough knowledge of Test Driven Development and know how to apply this.
You’ve got experience with and knowledge of release automation, pair programming, coding and unit test design.
You’ve got experience with and knowledge of Requirements engineering & information analyses
You’ve got experience with the agile way of working
You can prove that you are constantly improving your IT knowledge (books, tutorials, congresses, etc).
