To kick start your IKEA career you can join The IKEA Store traineeship. The IKEA Store Traineeship prepares you for a Management Team position in the store, and it does not stop there: the ultimate goal is to successfully deliver future Store and Retail managers to sustain IKEA’s growth, both nationally as well as internationally!
The IKEA Store Traineeship is a 12-months-program that focuses on your personal development, business expertise and the IKEA culture and concept. During this time you will attend various workshops and learning groups, but even more important: you start as a team manager in one of our stores and get the opportunity to learn from your colleagues on the shop-floor. It’s the perfect chance to get to know all sides of our business. You will constantly review your progress with your Store Manager to make sure you are building on the skills you have and recognizing the areas you need to work on. A development plan helps you focus your learning and achieve your goals.
You have a minimum of 0-2 years management experience in a (preferably omnichannel) retail environment.
You have a strong desire to lead a team in a fast paced, commercial environment.
You are fully mobile within the Netherlands and have the ambition to work abroad in the future.
You have a bachelor or master degree and are fluent in spoken and written English.
