At INDG we develop technology that enables engaging, hyper-realistic digital product experiences. Our goal is to make “every product playable”, by combining the science of technology with the artistry of computer-generated content. For the past 15 years, we have been helping multinational companies like Adidas, Yamaha, Ralph Lauren, Electrolux and Philips from our bases in Amsterdam, New York, and Bucharest.
Our CG artists, interactive designers and developers focus on creating products so lifelike it feels like you could reach out and touch them. Yes, at INDG we geek out to sexy technology like 3D modelling and AR, but behind the bits and bytes is an obsessive drive to design sophisticated technology and software solutions.
We are a young and dynamic company, continually evolving and (hopefully) maturing. The same goes for how we position ourselves and what we communicate to the rest of the world. The values that drive us are a strong eye for detail with a constant push for quality and imagination.
As an intern in the design team, you will have a multidimensional internship. The design team works closely together with our Marketing team to create materials for campaigns, client presentations, brochures and ad-hoc internal projects. Furthermore, we work on client projects in which we design websites, product pages and create the UI/UX of applications, which many people might use in the future. As an intern you will assist the Senior Designers in their work and learn how client branding guidelines are applied on a diverse range of designs.
Besides, you will run your own internal projects together with the Marketing department and work on these designs independently.
During an internship at INDG you will learn to work in a professional environment where quality is essential and deadlines have to be met. With the guidance and coaching of an experienced designer you will receive much responsibility and have the ability to grow fast.
You will be working fulltime in a project team and on individual assignments.
The internship is for at least four months for 32 or 40 hours per week. INDG will pay a monthly compensation during this period. During the internship it is possible to do a (graduation)research.
3rd or 4th year student at University (of applied sciences) level.
Having a portfolio available.
Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and Powerpoint.
Being able to work on conceptual ideas without the computer.
“As a design intern, I gained a lot of practical experience. I made many visuals for both internal and external communications. In addition, I learned to look critically at design and I have been free to take initiatives. Besides my assistant position as an intern, INDG also gave me the opportunity to complete the internship at their company with a particularly interesting graduation assignment!”
