Account Manager Mid Market
Adyen is looking for a knowledgeable, resourceful and inspiring Account Manager Mid−Market in Amsterdam.
Being an Account Manager Mid−Market at Adyen, you’ll be managing relationships with international merchants, across multiple industries and multiple channels. The Mid Market accounts are start−ups, family owned companies, or retail stores that go omnichannel whom you would be working in a close relationship with.

Relationship Management: You will establish productive and professional relationships with key people of your merchants and leverage those relationships
Strategic Consultation: You will proactively assess, clarify, and validate merchants needs on a regular basis. You will be the face of Adyen, deliver expertise, education, and payment guidance to the market
Collaboration: You will work with individuals and teams across Adyen to ensure the best possible merchant experience and to develop yourself and your colleagues professionally.
Feedback: You will serve as a feedback loop for the organization, gather merchant’s feedback, process merchant needs, and communicate these with internal stakeholders
Commercial/Portfolio Growth: By focusing on your merchant needs, you will support the growth of your portfolio and build up your knowledge
Motivation: You are inspired by the potential for innovation in the payments space, and passionate in your drive to push boundaries and create value.
Experience: You are experienced in a professional customer facing setting and are able to prove it. (Explicit experience in account management or a related field of practice is a significant plus.)

Communication: You have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of Adyen.

Minimum 1+ years of experience in a client facing role, preferably in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services.
Experience or interest in the payments industry from the merchant side is a definite plus.
Education: Bachelor or Masters; Business, Finance or a Technical focus is a plus
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, which means at Adyen: talk straight and clear
