You are responsible for
Leading a group of Process and Maintenance Engineers that supports the development, sustaining and continuous improvement of world-class Thin Film and MEMS manufacturing processes and equipment
Managing the cost and expenditure of the group in line with approved budgets
Selecting, developing, coaching, and evaluating employees and other team members
Developing and maintaining the competences and skills of the employees in the group in line with business requirements and customer needs
Ensuring the effective and efficient operation according to the QMS and teamwork of the group in cooperation with other groups in the MEMS Foundry
Leading the development and continuous improvement of the way of working, including manufacturing processing methods and equipment, including a capital investment roadmap for new and replacement tools
Identifying and assessing new and emerging manufacturing technologies and determine how to map them into process development and technology roadmaps
Managing the collection and SPC-based analysis of factory and equipment data, and determine priorities and action plans for the team based on the results.
Driving activities related to sustain and improve process safety, yield, throughput, and reduce cost.
Contributing to the implementation and operation of effective IT systems for the MEMS Foundry
You are part of
The Manager Process Engineering and Maintenance reports to the Head, of MEMS & Micro Devices, in Philips Innovation Services.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a technical discipline relevant to the industry (physics, materials science, chemical engineering, electronics)
At least 10 years of experience within the MEMS, semiconductor and/or micro-electronics industry, in process engineering and maintenance of the tools used in the industry;
Experience with Semicon and/or MEMS manufacturing
Knowledge of IT tools used in the Semicon / MEMS industry;
Proven experience with and knowledge of structural improvement methodologies (DMAIC, DfSS);
Knowledge of and experience with LEAN manufacturing;
Knowledge of ISO standards ISO9001, ISO13485 and work according to the quality management system;
Excellent communication and presentation skills, at different levels in the organization;
Good interpersonal skills and team player;
Drive and initiative to make a positive impact in the organization;
Strong customer focus.
